Wendron CC Youth Football is now one of the largest youth set-ups in Cornwall.
The most recent facility development, in June 2010 was the refurbishment of our MUGA training area with an all weather carpet.

Minimum age entry of new members is 6years.  This is down to football insurance.  Children under 6 are cannot be insured.  No insurance policy will cover younger children and from a football development point of view, just let them kick a ball around in the park without any rules.  When they turn 6 come to Wendron.   The U7 to U10 teams play 7 aside Mini-soccer.   The U11 to U13 play 9 aside  football ( the new FA format – same as 11v11 but smaller pitch and goals) and then at  U14 to U16 play 11 aside football. To ensure adequate supervision and control it is essential that boys/girls attend only the age group sessions allowable for their date of birth. The Kernow League is strict on this matter when the team play competitive matches. Please contact the relevant age group manager listed under the contact menu.

There is always an urgent need for parents either to support the main committee or form a separate “Fundraising Committee”.

Volunteers are required to assist with coaching, control, refreshments, shirt washing, match referees, pitch preparation and particularly transport when away matches are arranged.
